How much is remodeling my kitchen or bathroom going to cost?
It depends on the size and what choices you make for materials, but we can design a plan for any budget.
ButtonWhat do I need to do before I have my countertop/kitchen measured?
Please try to have countertops as clear as possible. It is very difficult to get accurate measurements when there are items and small appliances covering the countertop.

Laminate is going to be the least expensive option for most applications, and depending on how it is taken care of, could last decades. There are many color options from four different manufacturers, different finishes, and edge styles to pick from.
Solid surface material is softer than laminate, so it can scratch easier. It is also a cool product so if something hot is set on it, it can crack as it cools back down. It is repairable. Scratches can be sanded out and cracks can be fixed by a professional. It is also good for baking and rolling out dough because it is a cool product. Depending on the pattern, this product can appear seamless. Price varies by brand and color chosen.
Granite is a natural product. The beauty and artistry of granite is unmatched by man made products, but it comes with a price. It may need to be sealed with a sealant every year or so depending on the sealant applied. It is porous and can harbor bacteria. Since it is a natural product, and created by the earth's heat, it is more tolerable to heat, but you may not want to risk it for what the cost of the granite could be. Also, since it is a natural product, it may have fissures or cracks in the material, that may be hard to avoid, or unnoticeable, to the fabricator. It generally comes with no warranty. Pricing depends on color and edge style.
Quartz is a man made product, made up of granite particulates. Quartz doesn't require sealants and is impervious to staining and scratching. It can be heat resistant, NOT heat proof. Pricing depends on brand, color, and edge style.
ButtonHow do I take care of my laminate countertops?
Soap and water is all that you really need to clean your countertops. If you have to use a disinfectant, make sure that is made for laminate countertops, and doesn't contain bleach or other abrasive cleaners. If you have a stain on your countertop, try a little baking soda, water, and “elbow grease”. Also, be careful with the products you use to clean other things in your house. Over spray, a leaky bottle, or a lid from the cleaner could damage your countertop without you realizing it until water activates that chemical/cleaner. Among the products that can cause damage are: toilet bowl cleaners, lime and mineral deposit removers, bleach, acid based cleaners, and soap scum removers.

ButtonDo you provide installation?
Yes we do.
ButtonWhat do I need to do before my new countertop is installed?
Please make sure that your countertops are completely cleared off and that all of your base cabinets are empty. Also, your sink will need to be taken out; we are not licensed to do plumbing. We have plumbers, who we can call if you do not have a plumber, but we need to know in advance and they will bill you directly. Stoves and refrigerators need to be moved, as well, if they are next to the countertops and interfere with the installation process. Our installers will not move them due to liability issues.
ButtonCan my sink be undermounted in my laminate countertop?
Most sink brands cannot be directly undermounted in a laminate top. There are only two brands that we currently know of that can be undermounted in a laminate countertop. One is Karran. They offer acrylic, stainless steel, and quartz sinks that can be undermounted in a laminate countertop. We carry a few of the more popular styles in stock and the rest we can order in. The other is Wilsonart acrylic sinks, which we can order in as well.Do you help design rooms other than kitchens and bathrooms? We can help you with any of your design needs that require the use of cabinetry.
